Vietnam - the start

Here it is 19 May, and I am just starting to think about and get excited about our trip to Vietnam, and while we are in the vicinity we will slip into Cambodia Pnhom Penh visit Siem Reap, Tonle Sap Lake, then out to the temples at Ankor Wat.

Back in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC or Saigon), we will have look around the city sites, visit the Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta.

We then head off to Hoi An. From Hoi An to Hue and then off to Halong City and of course Halong Bay.

More on the trip getting there, our adventures and the sites as we travel around these two countries that have plenty of history.

    You're doing this all on a couple of scooters right?

    You have been watching too much Top Gear ;-) There is a scooter one on offer, but I thought that at our age we would stick to the tuk tuk's, cyclo's etc.
